Über Suchita Vanessa Smith
Suchita Vanessa Smith is a storyteller, media creator, and environmental scientist whose life reflects curiosity, courage, and thoughtful engagement with the world. Born with pseudoachondroplasia, a condition affecting bone growth and joint mobility, she lives with restricted movement and chronic pain, experiences that have shaped—but never limited—her life.
With a background in biology, Suchita worked in national park management in Western Australia before moving into media and cultural work. She produced and presented Full Circle on RTRFM 92.1 for fifteen years, exploring consciousness, spirituality, and wellbeing. She also founded Fremantle’s iconic Zorbas Dance Club, managing and DJing the venue for twenty years.
A traveller, creative spirit, and long-standing member of Fremantle’s spiritual community, Suchita has lived in India, travelled widely through Southeast Asia, and built her own media business. She continues to inspire through presence, insight, and lived experience.
